It’s hard to believe, but it has been almost 9 years since we came together for the 2015 Marcathon!  Thanks to Kristin, Micha, Michael and Randy for taking the initiative to plan another scientific reunion, we are now looking forward for the chance to celebrate our vibrant community this summer!

Lodging information

Hotel booking information: We have secured a hotel room block at the Arcadian Hotel Brookline (Sonder Management Group), right outside of Coolidge Corner and a 1 mile walk to Harvard Medical School.  You should reach out directly to Lindsey Howell (email here, reference the “Marc Kirschner Symposium” and include the guest name, arrival/departure date, email and phone number. Reservation requests must be received on or before the cut-off date of 06/19/2024, to ensure Sonder is prepared for the group’s arrival. Individual reservations will be confirmed and emails sent to each guest with instructions to complete their booking. All individuals must create a Sonder account and enter valid credit card information for incidental charges.

Please note that we have a mix of rooms in the block: a king room $300/night, a queen room $285/night, and 2 double beds $355/night.  These rates will apply to 3 nights before and after the room block dates of 7/19/2024-7/22/2024.

Other items: If you have any financial concerns about attending Marcathon, please feel free to reach out directly to anyone on the organizing committee as we are exploring some fundraising options.  We will also be able to provide the proper documentation in order to receive reimbursement from your home institution.
